Bubbles and Roll

We just completed week three of swimming lessons for Ella Kate, week two for the others. I still am in awe over the tremendous progress they have all made. All four of them can jump in the pool, swim a few feet and roll over. George and Grace can swim pretty far, Grace is actually pretty good at backstroke and freestyle or as she calls it "bubbles and roll." Jake graduated to the advanced strokes class and ended the summer working on the breast stroke, he'll pick back up with butterfly and then he'll have all of the strokes under his belt. They have come a long way from that first spring with Ms. Carolyn (aka the swim nazi) when they would cry at the thought of swimming lessons. And who would have thought that Grace the loudest of them all back then is now the best swimmer. We'll continue through the year with winter maintenance then pick back up next summer.
